Not only do you have diabloii.net saying IT IS D3 If you look at the comments from today's MMOChampion, an admin strongly hints that they have insider info to back up their claim IT IS D3 So two major gaming sites that are well established in the blizz community put their reputations on the line and say it will be Diablo 3. My skepticism has been beaten down. If I get disappointed (sobbing) I will never trust another gaming rumormill site again! Okay, fine, I give. I now believe it is D3.

So two major gaming sites that are well established in the blizz community put their reputations on the line and say it will be Diablo 3.

I think, if you look closely behind the ice and light in the middle, you can see the outline of something in brown. It could be a sword hilt or could be words, I'm not sure. This is further strengthened by someone we know getting an email from Amazon stating the release date was pushed forward. Now in regards to Diablo 3, on the small chance that is the case, I am thinking there is a 50/50 chance that it will be an MMO. I say 50/50 because while the subscription money would without doubt be a nice positive revenue flow, I think too much of it would come at the expense of WoW subscriptions. I have a feeling they may have the core game of D3 MMO done and are holding it back until another MMO challenges their dominance and they need the publicity of a new release. I also hope that it would be a PVP focused game, since Diablo has always just been hack and slash. That would be a much better avenue for their e-sport dreams. I drool over a PVP game of Heaven vs Hell set in the Diablo universe.
